The Youth4Peace platform supports the multistakeholder collaboration of the Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security (GCYPS) through knowledge management and communication by spotlighting youth-led peacebuilding, connecting knowledge products at all levels, bridging sectors and dimensions of youth, peace and security and providing space for collaboration.

Youth4Peace.info is the first global multistakeholder platform to inform about United Nations Security Council resolution 2250 (2015) and support young people’s participation in peace and security. The platform is hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and was launched in 2016 together with the Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Search for Common Ground (SfCG) and the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY).

The platform is a one-stop shop for information on the Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security ‘the missing peace’ and the United Nations Security Council resolutions 2250 (2015), 2419 (2018) and 2535 (2020) on youth, peace and security, among others. It is also a community engagement platform where members of the Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security (GCYPS) and others can exchange knowledge and experiences to advance the implementation of the youth, peace and security agenda.

This GCYPS guide to youth4peace.info seeks to inform GCYPS members about how they can use the platform and where to find the relevant information. In addition, the starter guide to youth4peace.info provides detailed information about components and functions.
